The Raven Purchased By Owners Of Odette's

The owners of Odette's have purchased The Raven and will lease it back to its current owner so it can remain a "community hotspot."

NEW HOPE, PA — Gateway to New Hope, owners of Odette's, has purchased The Raven and will lease it back to its current owner. The sale will be finalized later this month .

The agreement will allow operations of The Raven to remain the same, according to information from Gateway to New Hope.

The Raven's current operator, Sam Ambani, will continue to manage the W. Bridge Street entertainment venue.

"It is important to all parties that this local establishment remain a community hotspot," an announcement from Gateway about the purchase said.

The Raven was listed for sale in 2018 for $5.9 million. The details of the sale were not disclosed by Gateway.

"Although Gateway does not have any immediate plans for development, it is studying possible ways to enhance the property, as well as use the existing parking facilities to support event and hotel needs for The River House at Odette’s, once it opens in Spring 2020."

In the statement, Ambani said he is excited about the acquisition.

"We know that this will be a seamless transition, as current management will continue operations of the property, offering the same services that you have come to expect from The Raven. We are so grateful to our community for the love and support and are looking forward to an even brighter future together with the Gateway team.”

The Raven was established in 1979. In addition to the rooms, the resort includes The Raven Restaurant as well as a bar and lounge, the Raven Pool Club and Raven Dance Hall.
