Report Of Missing Man Prompts Search Of Delaware River

NEW HOPE, PA — Authorities are searching the Delaware River after a man was reported missing.

According to Upper Makefield Police, the report of the missing man is "unsubstantiated so far, but rescue crews will continue the search."

"We know some of you have seen the activity on the river," police said in a Sunday night social media update. Police confirmed there was a report of a missing man in the New Hope area.

Upper Makefield Fire Company is assisting in the search.
