River House Concierge Featured In Passport Magazine
Matthew Hoffer dished on New Hope's best spots for Passport, a magazine for LGBTQ+ travelers.
NEW HOPE, PA — Passport Magazine interviewed Matthew Hoffer, a concierge at the River House at Odette’s, for a story published on Wednesday. The LGBTQ+-centered travel magazine highlighted all the fun there is to get up to in New Hope, as well as the town’s deep sense of community and acceptance.
In the interview, Hoffer mentioned several favorite activities in the area including cocktails at The Salt House, brunch at Caleb’s American Kitchen, and touring through the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle. He also told Passport about enjoyable interactions with guests who’ve stayed at the hotel.
“The most memorable guests are the ones that reciprocate your efforts to be friendly and hospitable,” he said, describing a couple from Ohio who chatted to him often and told him how much they enjoyed various recommendations around the area.

Hoffer also spoke about the experience of New Hope Celebrates and the New Hope Pride Parade, saying “This community effort has everyone who walks into town feeling the love!”
