River House at Odette's Hires Manager, September Opening Planned

NEW HOPE, PA — The River House at Odette's, a new luxury hotel coming to New Hope, has hired a new general manager in preparation for its September opening.

Theresa Fera will oversee all operations at the boutique hotel, utilizing her experience in the luxury hospitality industry to build a "world-class experience for River House guests that embodies the spirit of New Hope and honors the property’s rich history," the company said in an announcement.

River House at Odette’s is set along the Delaware River on the site of the former Chez Odette, a cabaret created in 1961 by French American actress Odette Myrtil. Opening in September, the hotel will feature 36 guest rooms and suites, including two river-view penthouses, as well as the Odette’s Restaurant and Lounge.

“We selected Theresa for her impeccable taste, wealth of knowledge and track record for success in the luxury hospitality industry,” states Ron Gorodesky, President of Refined Hospitality, the management company overseeing River House. “This is a very significant opening and it was imperative to us that we chose a General Manager who understands luxury and is able to curate meaningful experiences for both locals and travelers alike.”

Fera most recently served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware. Specializing in restaurant and catering, she founded her own food service company, Fera Donna, which operated The Down Town Club in Philadelphia.
