River House At Odette's To Host Monthly Art Series
The series kicks off on March 16 at the New Hope hotel on River Road.
NEW HOPE, PA — River House at Odette's, the new hotel on the river in New Hope, will begin hosting a monthly art series featuring local artists.
The hotel is the former site of the Chez Odette cabaret, founded by French-American actress Odette Myrtil. In her honor, and in celebration of National Women's Month, the series will kick off on March 16 with a showcase of work by New Hope artist Pearl Mintzer.
Mintzer, who studied art at Brooklyn College, is an active member of the arts scene in New Hope and the surrounding area. Her paintings are known for their dramatic color and sense of whimsy.

Luxury Hotel Opens On The River In New Hope: Take A Look Inside
Mintzer will be on hand at the exhibit's opening, which will be from 5-9 p.m. at the hotel, at 274 S. River Rd.

The second event is the series is scheduled for April 20 and it will be the opening for works by Gordon Haas. The owner of Haas Gallery in Lambertville, his work has been featured since the 1980s in exhibits both regionally and internationally.
A portion of proceeds from all work sold during the River House series will benefit New Hope Arts, a nonprofit regional arts center.
