River Road To Close Next Week

NEW HOPE, PA — River Road in Solebury and Plumstead townships will close next week for patching operations, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is as follows:

• Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: River Road will be closed and detoured between Point Pleasant Pike and Fleecy Dale Road in Plumstead and Solebury townships. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413, Mechanicsville Road and Green Hill Road.
• Wednesday, Oct. 23, and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: River Road will be closed and detoured between Green Hill Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Green Hill Road, Mechanicsville Road, Sugan Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road).

Local access will be maintained up to both construction zones.
