Scarecrow Festival This Weekend At Peddler's Village
The Scarecrow Festival will be held this weekend at Peddler's Village. Here's what you need to know:

LAHASKA, PA — The scarecrows are now out at Peddler's Village, and the annual Scarecrow Festival will take place this weekend.
The Scarecrow Festival is planned for Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Festivities will include scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, children's activities, and more.
This year's display feature more than 100 scarecrows created by the public. The categories are: Quite the Character, Traditional Turns 40, Thrills with Chills, Upcycled Crow, Pink Out!, and Kids Only.

Pre-registration is recommended for the scarecrow-making workshops. To register, visit PeddlersVillage.com or call 215-794-4000.
To add to the fun, free outdoor movies will be shown during the evenings on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14.

"The Wizard of Oz" will be shown on Sept. 13 and "Hocus Pocus" on Sept.14. Both events will begin at 7:30 pm. Bring a chair or blankets.
If you can't make it to the festival, you can still see the scarecrows on display through Sunday, Oct. 27.
