Watch Artists Carve 300 Pound Pumpkins At A Bucks County Historical Site This Saturday
This Saturday: Watch huge pumpkins get carved amid the backdrop of Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. It's Pumpkinfest!

Pumpkinfest, the day that features huge pumpkins carved amid the backdrop of one of Bucks County's prized historical sites, will happen this Saturday, Oct. 21.
The event, which features area carvers making amazing art out of enormous pumpkins, culminates in a glowing display that illuminates the archways of Moravian Pottery and Tile Works in Doylestown.
Tile Works is a National Historic Landmark and is maintained as a "working history" museum. Moravian Pottery and Tile Works was founded by Henry Chapman Mercer, known for his influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement in America.

It serves as a magical location for the festive creations, carved out of pumpkins that weigh as many as 300 pounds. If you've never been, artists as long as six hours to complete their carvings.
The event, hosted by CB Cares Educational Foundation, will be held from 2 to 10 p.m.

In addition to the gallery of huge pumpkins, there will be food trucks, live music and amusements.
The cost to attend is $20 per car. Moravian Pottery and Tile Works is located at 130 Swamp Road, Doylestown.
