WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Latest Road Closings In Solebury Due To Isaias

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA—The cleanup from Tropical Storm Isaias is underway. According to township officials, public works and PECO crews are currently working to clear debris and restore power.

Some electric substations have been brought back online, they said. PECO estimates that it will take several days to restore power to the remaining customers without service. PECO has so far identified 30 separate outage points in the township, with about 32 percent of customers in Solebury without power, officials said.

Township officials said utility has crews in the area and is beginning to restore some service. Estimates for power restoration range from Friday, Aug. 7 to Sunday, Aug. 9.

The below list contains area roadways that are posted closed. Many trees, utility poles and power lines are down, officials said.

Roads that are closed:

• Lower Mountain Road between Street Road and Aquetong Road is closed
• Street Road is closed at Atkinson Road
• Aquetong Road between Route 263 and Upper Mountain Road is closed
• Lower Mountain Road is closed between Route 202 and Aquetong Road
• Meetinghouse Road at Sugan Road
• Route 232 between Aquetong Road and Old Windy Bush Rd (South) is closed
• River Road between Aquetong Road and Route 232 is closed
• Sugan Road closed at Laurel Road
• Greenhill Road closed between Route 263 and Aquetong Road
• River Road closed between Rt. 263 and Laurel (Verizon)
• Sugan Road is closed between Meetinghouse Road and Chapel Road
• Upper Mountain Road between Aquetong Road and Route 202
• Ingham Road between Rt. 202 and Rt. 202
• Laurel Road between Sugan Road and Comfort Road
