2 States Back On PA Travel Quarantine List, 1 Removed

Two states — Iowa and North Carolina — are back on the state's travel quarantine list. California has been removed.

PENNSYLVANIA — In the ever-evolving world of travel quarantine requirements, some changes have again been made in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Friday updated its travel quarantine list, putting two states back on and removing one.

North Carolina and Iowa are back on the list, which now includes a total of 20 states. California has been removed from the list.

The update was made as Pennsylvania officials continue to trace a number of new cases to travelers from outside of the state.

Here is the current full list of states which Pennsylvania leaders have identified as "at-risk" due to a high rate of the virus. Those who travel there are recommended to quarantine for 14 days upon return:

The state has been making weekly updates to the list.

Last week, Hawaii, Illinois, and South Dakota were added. Two weeks ago, North Carolina was removed, but has since been added back on.

The original quarantine list, announced in early July, included 15 states.
