Another Suspicious Letter Sent To Newtown Business, Police Say
Police in Newtown Borough have joined a joint investigation into "suspicious" letters sent to area businesses.
NEWTOWN, PA — Police in Newtown Borough say they too have joined an investigation into "suspicious" letters that have been delivered to area businesses.
Newtown Township police announced last week they had launched an investigation after two separate businesses in the township received letters seeking the donation of funds to a specific cause. The letters threatened harm to the establishment for failure to comply, police said.
The name of the cause was not released by police, due to the nature of the ongoing investigation.
