Bucks County COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout: Latest Updates
Here are the latest updates on the coronavirus vaccine rollout in Bucks County.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County opened its fifth and largest mass vaccination site Monday, an encouraging sign as new COVID-19 infections ticked up last week.
The new clinic opened at the former Giant grocery store in the Warwick Square shopping center on York Road on Monday on an appointment-only basis. The opening comes as the state health department reported 1,964 new infections in Bucks County last week, an 8 percent increase over the previous week.
The county says it has cleared its waiting list of people eligible for a shot under Phase 1A and has begun opening up appointments to county residents in Phase 1B. Residents in Phase 1C will be able to make appointments starting Monday, April 12, with the rest of the population able to schedule starting April 19.
