Catalytic Converters Stolen From Newtown Business Commons

Thefts of catalytic converters from commercial vehicles are on the rise in Newtown Township.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department continues to field reports of catalytic converter thefts from vehicles.

On Monday, police responded to reports of catalytic converters stolen from commercial vehicles overnight in the Newtown Business Commons.

Detectives obtained security footage from businesses in the area showing the suspects arriving in a four-door green or teal-colored vehicle, with possible two-tone coloring on the driver's side front fender, occupied by two people.
