Census 2020

To All Newtown Residents,

For those individuals who have not yet completed their Census for 2020, please take the time now. The Census is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.

I along with other Census Enumerators have been in the field knocking on doors of residents who have not yet completed one. If you don't feel comfortable doing one in person, you can go on-line or call it in.

Your input is both required and very important to help our community and the county in which we live.

When you participate in the 10-year Census, we help help our community receive federal funds for schools, roads, seniors and other items, based on our population. Also, it may enable our county to receive another seat in the House of Representatives.

All information you provide to the Census Bureau is confidential. If there are questions you do not wish to answer, you can respond accordingly while taking the survey.
