Children and Families--"Exploring Nature is like a Treasure Hunt"

Kim Kurki, Bucks County native and local author/illustrator, shares her knowledge of birds/nature and a craft for school-aged children

Kim Kurki, Bucks County native and local author/illustrator of "National Wildlife Federation's World of Birds: A Beginner's Guide," will present an interactive program, "Exploring Nature is like a Treasure Hunt."

Start off your summer right-- Kim will share her "sense of wonder" about nature, focusing on birds in particular. Using images from her book as a reference, she will talk about "birds as treasure" and will share her collection of natural artifacts, especially bird's nests, eggs, feathers and some other surprises.


Come and discover what is going on in YOUR backyard!
A fun craft activity will be included.
Books will be available for purchase.
