Council Rock Graduate Dies At 27 After Battle With Addiction

Andrew H. Nichols, who was raised in Washington Crossing and attended Council Rock schools, died on July 14, his obituary says.

On July 14, 2018 in Philadelphia, Andrew H. Nichols, age 27 passed from this earth, losing his struggle to overcome his addiction. Andrew had resided for most of the past year in Machias, Maine and was a member of the Machias Christian Fellowship.

Andrew was the son of Richard W. Nichols of Merchantville, NJ and the late Marilyn H. Breeden. Andrew was raised in Washington Crossing, PA and attended Council Rock schools graduating from the culinary arts program. He is also survived by his brother, William R. Nichols of Bristol, PA., his daughter, Isabella Diraddo, of Warminster, PA, and his stepmother, Mary Jo B. Nichols of Merchantville, NJ.

Andrew is remembered by many for his infectious smile, personal warmth, and helpful counseling on life’s problems. His artistic nature was reflected in his painting and musical interests. He loved the out-of-doors in New England and Pennsylvania.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA, where the family will receive condolences from 10:00 AM–11 AM. His interment will be private.
