Council Rock Named Top School For Music Education
The NAMM Foundation has named the Council Rock School District a top community for music education in the country.
NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School District is one of 686 school districts in the country to be named a top community for music education by the National Association of Music Merchants.
The award from the NAMM Foundation "recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education."
Council Rock, which is one of 109 Pennsylvania school districts to receive the award, has received the designation for the past 10 years, according to a statement from the district.
