NEWTOWN, PA — Council Rock North High School will be closed for the rest of the week after three students tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday, the district said in a letter to the school community.

There have been a total of five cases at North, with three of those reported Monday. Closing the school is consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines, the district said.

North students will participate in school virtually for the remainder of the week.
