Council Rock Offering Support To Students Impacted By Events In Israel

In a letter to parents and the community, Superintendent Dr. Andrew Sanko said the district is here to offer support and guidance.

NEWTOWN, PA ? In a letter to the community on Wednesday, Council Rock Superintendent Dr. Andrew Sanko said the school district is offering support to students and families impacted by the events unfolding in Israel and Gaza.

"Our hearts are with those impacted by the horrific events in the Middle East. This highly visible situation generates images and media coverage that bring the tragedy closer to us all," said Sanko. "These unfolding events can be especially distressing to children and anyone with family and/or cultural connections to Israel and Gaza.
