Council Rock School Board Hires New Superintendent
Board unanimously voted to hire Dr. Robert Fraser, who will officially start on July 1
The Council Rock School District has hired a new superintendent according to the Bucks County Courier Times.
The report states that the school board voted unanimously Thursday night to hire Dr. Robert Fraser, who will officially begin his new job on July 1, replacing the retiring Mark Klein.
Klein, who was hired as superintendent in 2004, will officially retire on Sept. 1. He will aid in the transition for two months according to the report.

Dr. Fraser is currently the assistant superintendent at West Chester Area School District. Before his current post, Dr. Fraser was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction from December 2008 to August 2013 in West Chester. He was also the Principal of the Fred Engle Middle School in the Avon Grove School District in Chester County.
The new Council Rock Superintendent completed his undergrad studies at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received his Master of Education in Educating At-Risk Students at Goucher College.

He continued his studies at Hood College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
