Democrats give support to primary candidates

The Newtown Democrats endorsed primary candidates at their March meeting, according to The Advance.

The democrats endorsed Tara Grunde-McLaughlin who is running for a Ward 1 seat on the Newtown Borough Council. Mark Joseph won the endorsement of the Newtown Democrats for Supervisor in Newtown Township, and Ed Valenti is being backed for Constable. School Board members and incumbents Bill Foster and Ed Tate also have the support of the group.

Former Township Supervisor Jerry Schenkman is won endorsement for Magisterial District Court Judge.
