Dog Wardens Coming To Bucks County Next Week To Check Licenses

If your dog is not licensed, it's time to take care of that. Dog wardens will be going door-to-door in Bucks County next week, on Wednesday, April 25.
Multiple wardens from the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement will be conducting the canvas. The wardens will be checking the status of dog licenses, as well as rabies vaccinations.
Residents with unlicensed dogs face fines of up to $300 per animal. Owners of non-vaccinated pets can also be fined up to $300 per animal.

In Pennsylvania, all dogs three months or older must be licensed annually by Jan. 1. An annual license is $8.50 and a lifetime license is $51.50. If your dog is spayed or neutered, the annual fee is $6.50 and lifetime is $31.50.
