Guru's Challenges Newtown Restaurants To A Dance-Off

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown couple behind Guru's Indian Cuisine is challenging fellow restaurant owners in Bucks County to an informal dance competition.

Priya Guru and her husband, Ashnikumar, are co-owners of the Newtown eatery on Sycamore Street. On Wednesday, they posted a video to Facebook showing off their dance moves and asking other restaurant owners to follow suit.

"I am challenging all of the restaurant owners in Newtown and Bucks County because we had a very difficult year and I think we should make it a little fun and more relaxing," she said.

While it doesn't appear any restaurants have taken them up on the challenge, the Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio Facebook page replied to the post to say they plan to get their dance crew together and make a video of their own.
