Happy Mother’s Day To Roseann Logan
"Never once have you treated our musical and theatrical interests as a hobby. You always embrace us and push us to be better artists."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Catherine Logan's letter to her mom:
Dear Mom,
When you look up "Stage Mom" in the dictionary, I am sure there will be a picture of you right next to it. You will forever be our Momma Rose, the ultimate stage mom.
Now, to some people, this term might be considered negative or have a scary ring to it. However, when it comes to you, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Being the mother of an actress and two musicians can not be easy! You make sure that my brother, sister and I arrive at every rehearsal, performance, and concert on time, and are always fully prepared.
You take pride in making it to every football game to see my brother's same marching band show over and over again. You worked hard and made it possible for my sister to play her viola and vibraphones in both Ireland and Italy with the Council Rock High School South Marching Band and Symphonic Orchestra. And over the last 32 years, you have been to every play, musical and opera of mine. (Yes, even the really bad ones.)
You are our biggest cheerleader, in the best overbearing stage-mom manner. Never once have you treated our musical and theatrical interests as a hobby. You always embrace us and push us to be better artists. Matthew, Christina and I are so lucky to have your love and support.
Thank you for being the first in line to get the best seats at every concert. Thank you for coming to every performance at Opera Philadelphia, Bucks County Playhouse and Walnut Street Theatre. And thank you for being the first one to stand up at cheer at the end of a 10-minute piece. You're the best stage mom ever! Love you forever.
