James Sutton, 58, Lifelong Newtown Resident

James 'Jimmy' Sutton of Newtown died on Christmas at Chandler Hall Hospice.

James ‘Jimmy’ Sutton of Newtown died Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. He was 58.

Born in Abington, Jimmy was a lifelong Newtown resident.

Jimmy was a graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 1975. He spent his life working at and owning Sutton’s Auto Repair on Washington Ave., Newtown. Jimmy loved music, the Eagles and Phillies, and his dog, ‘Schultz.’ Jimmy loved to take long drives along the river.

Jimmy was the son of Joanne R. Myers Donlon, and John and his wife, Janet Sutton. He was the proud father of Chelsa Marie Sutton and Catherine Marie Sutton, and is survived by Catherine’s mother, Denise Cauvin. Jimmy is also survived by his brother, Jack Sutton, and sister, Mary Jo and her husband, Jim Garner, Jeffrey and his wife, Margaret Sutton, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, and to his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 125 S. Sycamore St., Newtown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
