A Look Ahead: Jazz at the Rock, Public Session Meeting

The following is a listing of events and meetings scheduled this week in Newtown:

Council Public Work Session, Wednesday, April 8, 5:30 p.m.: The meeting, which will be held in Council Chambers, is expected include mayor’s report and the approval of Memorial Day parade.

Park & Recreation Board meeting, Wednesday, April 8, 7 p.m.: The Park and Recreation Board meets at 7 p.m. at the Township Building.

Jazz at the Rock, Saturday, April 11, 5 p.m.: Council Rock North High School plays host to 17 school bands for a night of jazz. The local high school jazz bands will be performing in competition, and the three Council Rock middle school jazz bands and two Council Rock North jazz bands will be featured in exhibition. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students
