Minecraft Spring Break Camp, March 30-April 3, 9 a.m.-noon: For kids who love to play Minecraft. Experience the world of Minecraft and LEGO bricks in a fun camp setting all week at the Newtown Administration Building. Kids, ages 7-12, will face new challenges each day of the camp. All students will take home skeleton mini-figure complete with “bow and arrow” accessory. Camp costs $179 for registered campers. Visit www.newtownfun.com to register.

Newtown Township Touch a Truck, March 30, 1-3 p.m.: Newtown Township will hold a free Touch a Truck event for kids ages 3-12 on Monday, March 30. Stop by the township municipal complex off Durham Road between 1-3 pm to get an up-close look at trucks used by Newtown Township Public Works and Newtown Fire Station 55.Children will learn how the vehicles work and can enjoy a supervised climb. Easter Egg-stravaganza, March 31, 10-11 .a.m.: Children ages 3-7 can celebrate Easter with egg-themed activities at the Newtown Administration Building. Kids will transform plastic eggs into decorative creations using puffy paint, pipe cleaners, felt and other craft supplies. Some of the creations kids will make are musical egg shakers, wee wobblers, and “hoppy bunnies” and baby chicks. Easter themed snack is included. There will also be a mini Easter egg hunt. Chrildren’s Story Time, April 1, 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.: Storyteller Anne McKernan presents Itsy Bitsy Time at 10:30 a.m. Children up to 3-years-old will enjoy storytelling and crafts. Wiggle Worms Story time, for children 3-6-years-old, begins at 1 p.m. Crafts will also be part of the program.
