Man Arrested For Stealing Wire: Newtown Township Police Report
Police discovered and seized suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on South State Street and Fountain Farm Drive.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA ? The Newtown Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Sept. 14 and 16:
September 14
- At approximately 7:30 a.m., police were dispatched for a theft of wire that occurred in Newtown Township. The investigation remains ongoing.

- At approximately 11 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a KIA SUV for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of State Street and Fountain Farm Lane. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.
September 16
- At approximately 6:15 p.m., police were dispatched for a theft of wire that occurred in Newtown Township. As a result of the investigation, a man was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft of secondary metal, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.
