Man Arrested for Using Spy Camera to Film Women Changing at Target

Police arrested a 32-year-old Warminster man for using spy camera pen to record women using the changing rooms at Target in Abington.

Miklos Jugovics was arrested on March 28 and charged with Invasion of Privacy, Unlawful Use of Computers, and Possessing Instruments of Crime. A pen with a built-in video camera was seized from Jugovics at the time of his arrest.

Abington Police announced Monday that they used a search warrant on Jugovics’ Warminster home and seized a computer and additional items on March 29. According to the press release, Jugovics admitted to using the pen camera, but claims, “he would then download the images onto a computer in his home but states that he never uploaded any images to the Internet or otherwise distributed them.”

The alleged crime came to the attention of police on March 21 when a female customer reported seeing a small, cylindrical device under the changing room wall. The customer attempted to grab it, but the device was pulled away leading her to believe she was being photographed. Target staff provided police with surveillance photo of a man who was seen in the area when this incident occurred.

On March 28, Target employees saw someone matching the photo of the same man and notified police. Police say there are indications Jugovics may have done this other times at the Abington Target between November of last year and this past weekend.
