Man Caught Damaging Newtown Fields

Police say they caught a man responsible for damaging fields near Sol Feinstone Elementary School and nearby Newtown Township baseball fields, according to reports.

Yao Ping Liang, 57, allegedly drove his truck through the snow-covered fields last weekend, leaving deep tire tracks the length of the field.

According to a report in the Bucks County Times, township police were alerted by witnesses about the Liang’s drive and damage. The police caught the man photographing his vehicle in front of the damaged fields. The report states that Liang will be responsible to pay for the damage field.
