Matthew Walsh, 45, Council Rock Graduate And Accomplished Golfer

Matthew Conway Walsh of Newtown passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at his home. He was just 45 years old.

Matt lived his entire life in Newtown, where he graduated from Council Rock High School. Matt graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University, and pursued a career in business finance. He was an accomplished golfer having played for Council Rock North's golf team. Matt was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be missed by many.

Matt was the beloved son of Carol and the late Thomas J. Walsh Jr., and the brother of TJ (Alison) and Mark Walsh. He was the loving uncle of Owen and Garrett Walsh. He also is survived by many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
