Nearly 100 Deer Bagged In Newtown's Tyler State Park Wednesday

150 hunters descended into the park Wednesday for the annual one-day shotgun deer hunt.

Nearly 100 deer were harvested Wednesday during the annual deer hunt in Tyler State Park.

Park manager Brian Flores told the Bucks County Courier times that 150 hunters went out on the one-day shotgun hunt and came back with 98 deer.

The hunt takes place every year in order to help control the deer population in and around the park, with hunters being able to harvest antlered and antlerless deer on the annual hunt.
