“It was great to fill Newtown theatre with so much laughter from a live stage production for one special gala night in 2006 to prove live theatre could flourish here,”Rasiej said in a press release. “The play deserves a full run so more people can appreciate Neil Simon’s genius portrayal of family dynamics that trigger roll-on-the-floor laughs while resonating with the off-beat love and quirky family dynamics we all face in one way or another.”
“Come Blow Your Horn” is about two brothers (played by Joey Joyce of Langhorne and Ronnie Palmieri of Willow Grove) living a carefree bachelor’s lifestyle in Manhattan, frustrating their father (played by DJ Holcombe of Yardley) who is upset about the older brother’s mentoring, and the loss of an important business account.
