Newtown Bike Works Donates Bicycles To Newtown Township Police
The Newtown Township Police Department received two mountain bicycles courtesy of Newtown Bike Works and a local insurance brokerage.

NEWTOWN, PA — A local bike shop has donated two Giant police mountain bicycles to the Newtown Township Police Department.
The two bikes were donated by Brian Boger, Fran Taloricco, Dan Turner and joe Keffer, co-owners of the Newtown Bike Works, and Bruce Johnson, manging partner of Johnson, Kendall & Johnson Insurance Brokers.
"Seeking more engagement opportunities between the police and the community, and a way where the officers can become more visible in our business district, in our communities, and with our youth, the bikes will provide that opportunity," Newtown Township Police Chief John Hearn said. "We are thankful that we have such great business partners and such tremendous community support that we can move forward with this program."
