Newtown Cheer Team To Compete at USASF Cheerleading Worlds

Once again, The Diamonds of Rock Starz All Stars Cheerleading are shining bright. The team will be compeiting in the USASF (US All Star Federation) Cheerleading Worlds championship taking place this weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The team reached Worlds by earning an At Large bid from the Spirit Festival Championships in Hartford, CT this past March which secured them a spot in the Worlds. They will be competing in the Level 5 Senior XSmall Coed division in the hopes to bring the Gold Title back home to Newtown. The competition will be able to view on FloCheer and starts this Saturday.

The Team is made up of:

Carli Bowers, Jazzy Grau, Brynn Guido, Sarah Hogan, Tyla Grozalis, Murphy Lanctot, Isabella Colavita, Brian Manners, Zoe McCandless, Anna McMoil, Jake Pettine, Gabrielle Scaler, Mollie Kate Story and Alexis Westenberger.
