Newtown Library Hosting 'Amazing Race' Challenge April 27
Get your friends and family together to take on the Newtown Borough-specific puzzles and challenges for a chance to win $200.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Newtown Library is gearing up for the Amazing Race: Newtown Library Edition 2019 that will task attendees with solving clues, finishing tasks, and more for a $200 prize.
The library will host the event April 27 at the Newtown Firehouse.
Participants will take on various puzzles, contest, tasks, and more all of which will be specific to Newtown Borough.

You join up with your family and friends to compete in teams of two or three people. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over 21.
First, second, and third prize winners will be awarded trophies and first prize will also win $200.

A cell phone with a camera is required for participating teams.
Registration by April 20 costs $20 per person for library members ages 14 and older $25 per person for non-library members ages 14 and older, and $15 per person ages 3 to 13.
Registration after April 20 cost $30 per person ages 14 and older and $15 per person ages 3 to 13.
Check-in with distribution of t-shirts and rules is at 9:30 a.m. First clues will be given at 10 a.m. The race ends 11:30 a.m and results will be revealed at noon.
