Newtown Man Competing For $100K In Extreme Talent Show
Tyler Scheuer's ultimate balancing act will be put to the test on the TBS Go-Big Show.

NEWTOWN, PA — A Bucks County native with an unordinary skill has a shot at winning $100,000 in an extreme talent competition.
Tyler Scheuer, 26, will appear as a contestant on the TBS Go-Big Show at 9 p.m. Thursday.
Born and raised in Newtown Grant, Scheuer has been balancing things on his face since he was a young student in the Council Rock School District. He discovered his innate ability while balancing a baseball bat on his nose as a bored 11-year-old at baseball practice. After that, he started picking up objects around the house and balancing them on his nose, forehead and chin.

"The first time I ever tried to balance anything, I could do it," he said. "If I can lift it, I can balance it."
Now an elite face balancer, there is no need for him to practice his routine. It comes naturally.

"I actually practice zero minutes a year," he said.
In a normal year, Scheuer said he performs at about 100 different events. The onset of the coronavirus pandemic in mid-march meant he couldn't perform at any more halftime shows or festivals, but in June, he received a call from a casting agent for The Go-Big Show on TBS. After nailing his audition, the showrunners flew him in to Macon, Georgia, where they spent three weeks filming the show. He formed a bond with the other contestants.
"A bunch of us still stay in contact, and there's even a relationship that came out of it, where two contestants are dating now," he said.
The Go-Big Show is hosted by comedian Bert Kreischer and featuring Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Nettles, Rosario Dawson and Cody Rhodes as celebrity judges. Scheuer said it will be his biggest gig to date.
