Newtown Police Report: Pending DUI Charges
Doylestown woman taken into custody early Saturday after traffic stop on Richboro Road.
Newtown Police said they pulled over a driver Saturday for allegedly driving without their headlights while traveling on Richboro Road.
Lauren Ann Abbott, 25, of Doylestown, was taken into custody around 1:45 a.m. after police believed she was driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Abbott was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center where police say she agreed to have blood drawn. The blood will be analyzed by the Bucks County Crime Lab, and charges of DUI are pending the results.
