Newtown Theatre Opens Cult Vault For 'Fear On Film Month'
The historic (and haunted) Newtown Theatre is bringing back its popular ?Cult Vault? series for ?Fear on Film Month?

NEWTOWN, PA ? The historic (and haunted) Newtown Theatre is bringing back its popular ?Cult Vault? series for ?Fear on Film Month? in October. This series is sponsored by Attleboro Wealth Management in Yardley. The movie lineup includes:
- ?Silence of the Lambs? (1991) on Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. Rookie FBI trainee Clarice Starling must consult the cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter for help in catching another murderer. Starring Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster.
- ?Nightmare on Elm Street? (1984) on Tuesday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. Freddy Krueger strikes where no one is safe ? inside your dreams ? turning sleep itself into a deadly trap. Starring Robert Englund as Freddy and a young Johnny Depp in his film debut.
- ?The Exorcist? (1973) on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. When a young girl is possessed by an unspeakable evil, two priests wage a harrowing battle between faith and pure malevolence. Starring Linda Blair, Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow and Jason Miller. ?Halloween? (1978) on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. On a fateful Halloween night, a masked Michael Myers returns to his hometown, turning a quiet suburb into a blood-soaked nightmare. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis in her breakout role, Donald Pleasence and Nick Castle as Michael Myers.
Tickets for each movie are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com or at the Newtown Theatre box office 30 minutes before screen time for $12/adults, $10/seniors and students, and ?pay what you wish? for theatre members. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before each movie.
