NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township is hiring a part-time recording secretary.

The recording secretary is responsible for taking meeting minutes for the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors and other meetings as needed.

Applicants will be expected to attend regularly scheduled evening meetings, or daytime
meetings via the Zoom platform. There are approximately four meetings per month.

According to the job listing from the township:

Applicants should possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, etc. Excellent written and verbal skills are required, along with the ability to accurately portray, in writing, the development, and decisions of officials, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines.
