Newtown Township Touch A Truck Event Is April 17

Children can get an up-close look at a variety of trucks during the free Newtown Twp Touch a Truck event on April 17.

NEWTOWN, PA — Newtown Township will be hosting a free Touch a Truck event on Wednesday, April 17.

The program, for children ages 3 - 12, is a chance for kids to get an up-close look at various vehicles, including fire trucks, work trucks, and more. It goes from 1 to 3 p.m. and is held at the Newtown Township Municipal Complex Parking Lot.

The following agencies and organizations will be participating in the event: Newtown Township Public Works; Leck Waste Services; First Student Bus; Newtown Ambulance; and Newtown Fire Station 55.

"This educational outdoor event is an opportunity to give the community a chance to explore a variety of trucks and vehicles seen operating around town," Newtown Townships Parks and Recreation explains in the event description.
