Rt. 413 Reopens After Utility Repairs
A portion of Rt.413 in Newtown that was completely closed Monday for repairs has reopened.
NEWTOWN, PA — Rt. 413 in Newtown has been fully reopened following a Monday closure. The road had been closed between Chatham Place and Wrights Road for repairs to a utility police, police said.
The road was completely closed for nearly an hour; at 12:45 pm, the northbound lanes reopened. At 5:30 p.m., police announced the roadway was fully open.
A utility truck severed a Verizon pole, police said, and Verizon worked to replace it.

"There will be traffic delays in the area until Verizon has completed their work," police said.
The closed portion of the road was in the area of the Rosebank Winery.
