NEWTOWN, PA — Newtown's newest restaurant, Solstice, will be opening for dinner this Monday, March 9. In anticipation of the opening, Solstice is now accepting reservations and has released its menu (see below).
The 9,245 square-foot restaurant, located at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, features a "hyper-seasonal" brunch, lunch, and dinner menu.
Solstice will boast a "city-like dining experience" with "modern, whimsical plating," representatives say.

The indoor dining room and bar will have 165 seats; 2,500 -square-foot outdoor patio space will seat 92. Features will include an open kitchen design, which will put the inner workings of the restaurant on display for guests.
The executive chef is Jason Audette, who most recently served as chef de cuisine Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York. Previous positions include Del Posto in Manhattan, where Audette worked with chef Mark Ladner to earn a Michelin star.

The menu at Solstice will rotate four times a year by season. Once every quarter, Solstice will unveil a special "Peak of Season" menu that will be available for just four to six weeks.

HOURS: Solstice will be open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an abbreviated menu available from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be offered Monday-Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Sunday 3:00 p.m. – 10 p.m., and brunch will be served on Sunday from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m.
