See Snowfall Totals For Newtown Area
Wednesday's winter storm brought heavy snow, sleet and gusty winds to the Newtown area. But how much snow did we get?
NEWTOWN, PA — Sleeping Bucks County residents hoping for a foot of snow in their backyard when they woke up Thursday morning were disappointed.
The first winter storm of the season brought about 5.7 inches of snow to the Newtown area, according to the National Weather Service. Yardley recorded 4.8 inches. More than 8 inches fell farther north in places like Quakertown and Sellersville, while Buckingham Township only reported 3 inches.
While Wednesday's Nor'easter may have fallen short of expectations, it has kept snow removal vehicles busy across Pennsylvania.
