She Loved Emojis, Unicorns, Mermaids: Kayden Mancuso's Obituary

Services have been set for the 7-year-old Bucks County girl tragically killed by her father in a murder-suicide over the weekend. Kayden Mancuso was a "true angel," her obituary says. She was vibrant, excelled at school, and enjoyed a variety of sports and activities, including drawing, gymnastics, and softball.

Like every typical 7-year-old girl, she loved emojis, unicorns, mermaids, LOL surprise dolls, and was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan, her family says in a heartbreaking obituary.

Services will be held Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lower Makefield. She will be buried at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown.

Kayden was about to enter second grade at the Edgewood Elementary School in the Pennsbury School District. Already a vibrant student athlete, she excelled in the classroom with perfect grades in both kindergarten and first grade. She was set to play as a seven year old on the 10U Pennsbury Gems softball team and was amazing at gymnastics. Kayden's enthusiastic and sparkling personality was a joy to her family and friends and everyone whose lives she touched. She loved to draw, do her friends hair and makeup, dance, sing, and play with her little brothers, and cousins. She loved emojis, unicorns, mermaids, LOL dolls, American Girl dolls, and was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan. She was a true angel.

Kayden is survived by her parents, Kathryn Giglio Sherlock and Brian M. Sherlock; her two brothers, Kyler and Blake Sherlock; grandparents, Thomas and Jean Giglio, William and Patricia Sherlock, and Cathy Mancuso; aunts and uncles, William Sherlock, Jr., Debra (Mark) Roscioli, Jennifer Sherlock, Heather (Allen Depuy) Giglio, and Meghan (Kerrin) Giglio, Allison Mancuso; cousins, Tommy, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Ryan, and Colin, and loved by many others including great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 9am to 11:15am Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Route 413, Newtown, PA.
