Supervisors Reject New Toll Brothers Development In Newtown
A Toll Brothers plan to build 45 homes at Rt. 413 and Twining Bridge Road has been denied in Newtown Township.

NEWTOWN, PA — A Toll Brothers plan to build 45 homes at Rt. 413 and Twining Bridge Road has been denied in Newtown Township.
The Board of Supervisors on Aug. 26 denied the conditional use application. During a meeting Wednesday, the supervisors approved the written conditional use decision denying the application.
Toll Brothers had sought approval for the residential development on a 152-acre parcel at Rt. 413 and Twining Bridge Road.

Conditional use approval was required because Toll is proposing to use a cluster option when configuring the development.
Last year, an informal proposal from Toll Brothers to construct more than 170 residential units on the same property was overwhelmingly opposed by township residents.
