Trenton Woman Facing Possible DUI Charge After Being Stopped in Newtown

Police say they found various medications in vehicle.

A Trenton, N.J. woman is facing a possible DUI charge after being transported to St. Mary Medical Center Tuesday night.

A Newtown Township police officer responded to a call, shortly after 8 p.m., of a motorist driving in an unsafe manner on Newtown Yardley Road. When the officer arrived, he observed Schoranda Henderson and her vehicle parked on the shoulder.

Police say she was crying and unable to speak clearly or answer questions. Police report that various medications were found in the vehicle.

Henderson had blood drawn at the hospital, and it was sent to Bucks County Crime Lab. The charge of DUI is pending the results of the lab analysis.
