UFO Sightings Reported In Pennsylvania In 2016: Check Out The Full List

Did you know that there were 11 UFO sightings reported in Pennsylvania in December alone? And in 2016 there were nearly 200 sightings reported in communities all across Pennsylvania, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying there are or aren't UFOs, but according to the National UFO Reporting Center, the most recent sighting in Pennsylvania occurred in Gouldsboro on Jan. 9 at 4 p.m.

In that specific case someone reported a "Bright light moving left, right, up and down," the report states.

Spooky stuff indeed, right?

Other communities that reported sightings in 2016 include: Bensalem, New Hope, Levittown, Allentown, Willow Grove, West Chester, Warminster, Pottstown, Warrington, Easton, Limerick, Churchville, Doylestown, Chadds Ford and more.

And in case you’re wondering what the National UFO Reporting Center is, it’s been around since 1974 and it investigates UFO sightings and has put together a list of more than 90,000 sightings around the world.

Here are some of the sightings we found most interesting:

• Holland, Dec. 6: "It was a bright red sphere that lit up the woods as it passed slowly overhead, traveling east, until it went up over the ridge by Neshaminy High School. I couldn't get my camera working quickly enough. It was extremely bright red, without sound."
• Willow Grove, Oct. 25: "Saw bright light far in the sky orbiting and lights turning green,red and yellow. It moved back and forth."
• Philadelphia, Oct. 15: "A single orange light traveled in a slow, erratic, yet seemingly controlled pattern across the sky."
• Bensalem, Sept. 18: "I was walking my Dog outside and noticed 2 red lights side by side that looked like red eyes and underneath the 2 red lights was a bright blue light. I could hear it. It sounded like a humming sound kind of. It was dropping down extremely fast and changing direction right to left then kept dropping until it went around building. I ran around building to keep eye on it and it was gone."
• Warrington, June 13: "Falling or landing ball of light over Home Depot in Warrington, PA, 9 pm at night."
• Limerick, April 2: "Two small balls that looked like they were on fire."
• West Chester, March 8: "UFOs in formation over West Chester."
• Plymouth Meeting, March 15: "It was NOT a plane because it's dark outside. The moon is strong so that may have helped me see it."
• Morrisville, Feb. 13: "Red Lights triangle shape flying over Morrisville."
• Philadelphia, Jan. 31: "Eight fire ball shapes flying west , north, and straight up, but calm manner. They were focused."
