Virtual Business Card Exchange Takes Place Next Week

The monthly networking event, now via Zoom, is presented by the Newtown Business Association.

NEWTOWN, PA —The Newtown Business Association's (NBA) next monthly Business Card Exchange event is scheduled to take place virtually from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wed. Feb. 10, according the group's website. The event, which will be conducted via Zoom, is free and available to NBA members.

Members looking to register for the meeting, can do so online at NewtownBA.org. Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. The website also includes details about how to become a sponsor of the monthly Business Card Exchange, which takes place on the second Wednesday of each month.

The NBA noted that all guests are welcome to attend one Business Card Exchange and one Member Breakfast, but that a guest fee will be assessed for each event attended thereafter.

The organization also invited attendees to the virtual event to consider donating items to local food banks. These items are usually collected during in-person meetings.

Recently, the NBA presented its awards and recognitions for service in 2020. The Temperance House restaurant, 5 S. State St. in Newtown, was recognized as the Business of the Year for its free meals program for local firefighters, first responders, paramedics and doctors and nurses fighting COVID-19 in Bucks County.
