The Rienzi family has presented sketch plans for a winery in Wrightstown Township.
WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Rienzi family has presented plans for a winery in Wrightstown Township.
Attorney Ed Murphy appeared before the township's board of supervisors Monday, where he described the Rienzi's vision for the Swamp Road property.
Nearly all of the vines have been planted in anticipation of a fall harvest, said Attorney Ed Murphy, who is representing the Rienzi family.

The plans call for a two-story, 5,000 square foot building that would house the production area for the winery and space for a tasting room, events space and private dining area on the second floor.
Joseph Rienzi, who is a viticulturist at Karamoor Estate Vineyard & Winery in Fort Washington, will be running the vineyard, Murphy said, while Angela and Armando Rienzi will be actively involved as principals.

Supervisors appeared supportive of the idea provided that the winery's events don't bother the neighbors. Angela Rienzi said they are aware of the project and have not expressed any issues.
The project will need approval from the township's board of supervisors before it can break ground.
